Plot Summary: 

The bloodcurdling horror thriller tells the story of Jake Sawyer (Jason Behr), a young American tattooist who travels around the world, exploring ethnic designs. When visiting a tattoo exhibition in Singapore, he becomes fascinated with the exotic art of traditional Samoan tattooing. Willing to learn Samoan tattoo techniques and design elements, he inadvertently unleashes a deadly spirit. Thus, people who have been tattooed by him fall victims to the evil spirit and start dying one by one, with black blood exuding from the tattoo wounds.
